Our tour begins in the heart of Évora, a city rich in history and heritage. First, we visit the Temple of Diana, one of the city's most impressive landmarks, a Roman temple dating back to the 1st century AD. With its majestic columns, it stands as a symbol of Roman presence in the region.

Just a few steps away, we reach the Évora Cathedral, a medieval cathedral with imposing architecture. Dedicated to Saint Mary, it offers a spectacular view of the city from its terrace, where we can see the city and the surrounding fields.

Next, we head to the Chapel of Bones, part of the Church of São Francisco. This fascinating and macabre site is decorated with the bones of over 5,000 individuals and is one of Évora's most visited monuments, inviting reflection on life and death.

After the visit, we walk to Praça do Giraldo, Évora's lively central square, surrounded by historic buildings and traditional cafés. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy a coffee or simply soak in the local atmosphere.

We then explore the Cork Factory, where we learn about cork production, a centuries-old tradition in Portugal. We’ll have the opportunity to witness the process of transforming cork into various products, from bottle stoppers to fashion accessories.

Our visit includes a wine tasting of the renowned Alentejo region, famous for its bold and high-quality wines. During the tasting, we’ll learn about the region's grape varieties and the local winemaking tradition.

Finally, our last stop is in Arraiolos, a small village known for its handmade rugs. We’ll visit a rug store and learn about the ancient weaving techniques that define these unique products.
