We head to Vila Real de Santo António, a charming town on the border with Spain, known for its Pombaline architecture and welcoming streets. We’ll explore the historic center and then board a ferry to cross the Guadiana River, enjoying the views of the estuary.

Next, we proceed to Praia da Altura, a peaceful retreat with extensive golden sands. Here, we’ll have time to relax and soak up the sun before continuing to the famous Manta Rota, where the sea meets the dunes, creating a picturesque scene.

Our next stop will be Cacela Velha, a picturesque coastal village with stunning views over the Ria Formosa. We’ll stroll through the narrow streets and visit the small church and fortress, while admiring the unique landscape and the crystal-clear waters of the beach below.

From Cacela Velha, we head to Tavira, one of the most enchanting cities in the Algarve. We’ll explore the historic center, with its ancient churches, castle, and the famous Roman Bridge. It’s the perfect place for a lunch break, where you can try the traditional arroz de lingueirão (razor clam rice).

We continue towards Faro, the capital of the Algarve, for a brief visit to the historic center and the Cidade Velha, with its medieval walls and architecture.

Next, we travel to the Barlavento Algarve for an exciting boat ride to the Benagil Caves, exploring the famous rock formations and the impressive Benagil Cave. After the ride, we’ll visit Ponta da Piedade and Praia do Camilo, with their turquoise waters and striking cliffs.

We finish the tour at the rock formations of Algar Seco in Carvoeiro and the mysterious Gruta das Bonecas before returning to our starting point.
